Sluiceboard Climb

When her night shift ends, Hesper walks down past the pollard willows to the cress beds and drops oak boards into the weir hatch while bright morning water climbs behind them. Its free round climbs too, board by board.

About this world

Sluiceboard Climb

Sluiceboard Climb is the even-tempered walk at the bottom of the park. Lifting hooks, elderflower jugs and waterline gauges carry the everyday pays, and the one-leg heron and the brass sluice wheel hold the richer ones. The Three-Board Shield fills in for every picture except the Chalk Mark Stone. Three Chalk Mark Stones anywhere start Board by Board with ten free spins, Hesper dropping in board after board so the multiplier climbs from x2 through x3 to x4 as the water rises. With four stones the weir holds fifteen spins, with five it holds twenty-two, and stones landing mid-round add spins while the water level stays up.

Board by Board. Every free-spin win is multiplied, starting at x2 for spins one and two, rising to x3 for spins three and four and holding at x4 from spin five onwards; it never slips back.

The honest part

Play coins only, every night

Only free virtual coins are played with here. It is not real-money gambling, wins have no real-world value, and nothing is sold in-app. Each result comes from a random number generator, and the next spin owes nothing to the last.

Measured by running this page's own engine for 10,000,000 spins: coin RTP 95.1%, hit frequency 37.7%, free spins about once in 127 spins, a win of 10x your stake or more about once in 134 spins. Coin figures only — no money is staked or returned.

How to play

Sluiceboard Climb in three steps

1

Sign in, follow the path past the pollard willows and set a stake beside the weir hatch.

2

Spin. A Three-Board Shield fills any gap except a Chalk Mark Stone, and pays follow the fixed lines from left to right.

3

Three Chalk Mark Stones start ten free spins: Hesper's opening two boards pay x2, boards three and four pay x3 and every board after pays x4; four stones make fifteen spins and five make twenty-two.

Who it suits

Players who like an even walk to the weir and a free round that deepens with every board Hesper drops, rather than one sudden splash.

What to expect

A steady flow of modest pays on paid spins. The weir only reaches x4 once Board by Board is well under way, so the brightest moments at the weir tend to come near the end of a round.

Questions

About Sluiceboard Climb

Never inside a round. Each board Hesper drops stays put, so x3 or x4 holds right through to the final free spin.

Yes. Three or more stones found mid-round lengthen it, and the water level of the multiplier does not fall.

No. The Chalk Mark Stone is the scatter and pays anywhere on the reels, so the shield leaves it alone.

At first light the lamps go out in the orchid wing and the sun comes in through the dome, catching ornate glass cases of violet and white orchids on their iron stands. Anyone may spin in this wing, and after an empty paid spin the orchid cases hold their squares for one free look more.

Before the lamps are lit, Hesper calls at the timber honey shed in the meadow, where low gold sun pours across shelves of glowing honey and beeswax. The wildest of the three worlds, with tumbling reels whose chains pay more at every step.
